  • Christen Soos recently graduated from George Mason University where she received her Master of Music degree with a concentration in Flute Performance and a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Music Education.

  • Debra Smyers has over 30 years of experience within the arts and social services sectors. Currently, Ms. Smyers serves as the executive director of Fauquier Community Theatre; enriching, entertaining, and educating audiences through a variety of live theatre productions and special programs that enhance the cultural life of the community for all ages.

  • Dr. Kathleen Smith began teaching at George Mason in 2011. She received her masters and doctoral degrees in Music Theory from Florida State University where she was honored with a university-wide Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. She has served on the faculty of George Washington University, Northern Virginia Community College at Alexandria, and Shenandoah Conservatory. 

  • Kimberly Sheridan is an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and she holds a joint appointment in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.

  • Victoria Salmon is an adjunct faculty member for the Arts Management program. She is the Associate Dean, Emerita, Graduate Studies and the Chair of the Arts at Mason Board

  • Don Russell has been an active contemporary art curator and arts administrator since 1979. His research focuses on the exploration and development of new social contexts for art.

  • As an editorial designer my goal is to create pages that engage the reader and make the essence of an article visible. I have been a designer for nearly 20 years, the last 12 as the design principal at a publication.

  • Carole Rosenstein is Full Professor of Arts Management and affiliated Professor of Folklore at George Mason University in Virginia, USA. She studies cultural policy and the social life of the arts and culture with a focus on cultural democracy and cultural equity. Her most recent book is Understanding Cultural Policy (2e 2024).

  • Jennifer Rosenfeld joined the Arts Management program for the Spring 2014 semester in addition to her duties as Associate Director of Educational Programs for the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media (CHNM) at George Mason.

  • Dr. Gregory Joseph Robinson is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Ethnomusicology at George Mason University’s School of Music. He received the Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated summa cum laude from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
