Mason’s Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution is ranked No. 1 nationally among public institutions for its overall performance, and No. 1 among all institutions for its online offerings, according to a new report by Authority.org.

George Mason University is No. 1 among public universities for research performance in entrepreneurship, and No. 2 overall nationally, in the latest report from EduRank.

It isn’t surprising the George Mason University, a university that has been recognized for its innovation and entrepreneurship, would be among the top 100 universities in United States for patents. This fall, the National Academy of Inventors ranked Mason No. 91 in its list of the top 100 universities granted patents during 2022.

Multiple national college rankings released in recent weeks have placed George Mason University among America’s top 50 public universities, top 100 among all public and private institutions, and Virginia’s No. 1 public university for social mobility.

George Mason University was named one of Money magazine’s Best Colleges in America 2023 with a 4.5 out of 5-star rating.

George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School is the No. 2 law school in the commonwealth in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings. The school also ranks No. 2 among all law schools in the Washington, D.C., area.

The MHA program ranks #17 in public institutions.

Three programs—Master of Health Administration, Master of Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice—are in the top 50 of their respective disciplines. 

The results are in, and U.S. News & World Report says the Schar School continues to do well in national rankings. Homeland security was No. 5 in the country.

George Mason University has 10 graduate programs in the top 30 among public institutions, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report, reflecting the university’s reputation for innovation and ability to make significant impacts on the national stage.
