Sidney Yap, BS Information Systems Operations Management ‘20, MS Management ‘21, Business Analytics Grad Cert ‘22, MBA ‘25, exemplifies exceptional balance—driving innovative strategies at Navy Federal while representing the Philippines internationally in the hammer throw. 

Starting in January 2024, Judy L. Redpath, MBA ’84, has deepened her connection with the Costello College of Business at George Mason University. A founding member of the Financial Planning and Wealth Management Advisory Board, she recently joined the Dean’s Advisory Council and established the Judy L. Redpath Finance Endowed Scholarship in early 2024.

Growing up in southern Virginia, Sandy Torchia, BS Accounting ’93, discovered her passion for accounting early. During high school, she realized that hard work in the field could not only open doors to exciting opportunities but also to a fulfilling career.

As a senior manager of state and local tax at RSM US LLP, Erica Cline, BS Accounting ’02, thrives in the firm’s inclusive and collaborative culture.

This year’s inaugural session of Camp Costello gets underway Wednesday, August 20 and concludes Friday, August 22. Over 100 first-year business students have registered for this opportunity to connect with their peers, academic advising and career services resources within the college, and Costello faculty, staff, and alumni—all before the start of fall semester classes.

Nadine Choueiri, BS Management ’08 and MBA ’16, is the chief financial officer (CFO) and chief operating officer (COO) of Mission1st Group, a fast-growing, service-disabled veteran-owned government contractor.

When Cory, BS Finance ’18, and Ashley Brooks (formerly Reichert), BS Finance and Marketing ’19, first started dating at George Mason University nearly a decade ago, they didn’t yet realize that their love story would one day turn into marriage, both working as wealth advisors for the same company, volunteering their time at the school where they first met, becoming parents to a beautiful baby girl—and so much more.

The Costello College of Business at George Mason University held its 19th Annual Business Celebration on April 24, 2025, at the Mason Square Campus in Arlington.

After graduating from the Master of Science in Management Program at the Costello College of Business at George Mason University, Stone Brickhouse, MS Management ‘21, MBA ‘25, found that he approached decision making at work entirely differently.

At Commencement, the newest Costello alumni are welcomed into the Costello alumni community—comprising 40,000 members and counting. Working on their behalf, the Costello College of Business Alumni Chapter offers engaging programs and networking opportunities to foster meaningful connections among students, alumni, faculty, and community partners.
