Virginia Opera's "Loving v. Virginia" Will have World Premiere at Center for the Arts May 3–4, with music by composer Damien Geter and directed by opera superstar Denyce Graves.

When Student Body President Maria Alejandra Romero Cuesta and Vice President Colin McAulay were looking at universities, George Mason University’s proximity to Washington, D.C., and Schar School of Policy and Government’s strong reputation made it a top choice for them both.

George Mason University bioengineering student Berk Kasimcan spent his summer internship working on a proof of concept for what could be described as sunglasses for buildings. 

Grace McIntyre is an incoming student in the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution who is in the Honors College.

Cece Foye is an incoming freshman in the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution who is a University Scholar in the Bonner Leadership Program.

Cora Jackson, an incoming student in the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution and an Honors College student has passions for skiing, travel, and pets.

Dmitry Oleynik began attending events hosted by George Mason University’s Early Identification Program as an eighth grader. The program, along with early support from his family, helped him develop an interest in engineering.  

Ian Candy is coming to George Mason from South Dakota to study government, neuroscience, and will compete in forensics. See how he hopes to combine it all in an effort to make the world a better place.

Samuel Dalachinsky could have attended college tuition-free in Florida. But his experience at the George Mason Institute of Forensics in the summer of 2022, before his senior year of high school, convinced him to look at George Mason University.
