A page hidden from search engines with a temporary title allows it to be shared with internal reviewers before being made publicly available.
Set Up a New Page with a Working Title
- Create a new page.
- On the page's Edit Settings screen, enter a enter a temporary working title to the Titlefield. Choose a title specific enough to recognize later, but not descriptive enough for a visitor to guess or find through search.
For example: Use "Review Abt 2026" instead of "New About Page for 2026" as the working title.
- Set the Save As status to Published.
- Click the blue Save button.
A page title forms the last segment of the page's URL. Changing the text in the Title field changes the page's URL.
Saving the page as Published, rather than Draft, generates a URL reviewers can access without logging into SiteMasonry CMS. Using the Published status also prevents issues that occur when multiple Draft versions are in the page's revision history.
