During the month of May, Arts Management (AMGT) graduate students will present on their learning development and professional skills that they gained in the internship course and Capstone!

On May 1st, Arts Management (AMGT) graduate students will be presenting both graduate portfolios as  well as research projects to fulfill their graduate Capstone requirements before graduating. On May 5th, Arts Management (AMGT) graduate and minor students will be presenting their internship portfolios. These presentations are an exciting event for AMGT students, faculty, alumni, and the arts community as they are able to show off their real-world, arts management skills and applications.

In their final semester with the Arts Management (AMGT) program, graduate students synthesize and present on their learning and professional development experience in the Capstone course. While Capstone is the culminating project and course that graduate students must complete before graduating, they can either be a portfolio option, led by Dr. Victoria Salmon, or a research options, led by Dr. Carole Rosenstein, as serve as a showcase of future arts leaders! They serve as a showcase and summary of skills that will make students future arts leaders. Some capstones have even made it beyond the presentations and developed into real-world projects such as past Capstone Project by Stacey Schwartz for her Free Little Art Gallery.

For the internship presentation, Arts Management (AMGT) graduate students present on their learning development and professional skills that they gained in the internship course. Students are led through their internship experience with their site managers and Internship Coordinator Jennifer Rosenfeld to ensure they maximize their time! Last semester's internship presentation came with surprising shock as over 50% of AMGT students gained continued work through their internship. Though this presentation is an opportunity to reflect on a students' experiences, other students who join the internship presentation may make a connection that leads to a perfect placement.
