Alumni are ODKM's #1 resource. And the source of true community.
This past academic year (August 2025 to May 2026), the faculty began a push to expand alumni participation throughout the ODKM program by recruiting graduates into our classrooms to support students, and alumni enthusiastically responded to our call.
Alumni served as mentor coaches in the Foundations of Coaching course, served as co-facilitators in several courses, and provided pro bono coaching to students in their final semester. They returned to the classroom as guest speakers and panel speakers, sharing best practices and lessons learned. Alumni facilitated small group dynamics. And the list goes on.
Additionally, alumni have come forward to generously support the program in a variety of other ways:
- Writing and editing our new alumni newsletter, ODKM Learning Edge
- Serving as researchers and committee members to map the IDG framework to the ODKM curriculum
- Hosting, speaking, and facilitating our new ODKM Continuing Education program
- Supporting our social media strategy through blog writing and on our YouTube channel
- Supporting the continued efforts of the ODKM Learning Alliance
We are grateful to all those who have contributed to the ODKM community during the past year and beyond. As we honor our 30-year history, we recognize that one of our greatest strengths is the hundreds of alumni who make up our community. Your depth of knowledge, breadth of experience, and generous spirit help make this program stronger.
