On July 7, group tickets will go on sale for the Center for the Arts’s upcoming season, giving you new opportunities to share your passion for dance, music, and theater with the arts lovers in your life—young or old! For Great Performances at Mason, groups of 10–49 receive a 15% discount, while groups of 50 or more receive 20% off. Group discounts for the Family Series and holiday performances are 10%.
A 50% discount on youth tickets makes Center for the Arts performances a great option for K–12 students as well. And these experiences go beyond entertainment, says ballet instructor Kaitlin Ronayne, who brought groups of students from the Dance Academy of Loudoun to performances of Ballet Hispánico in 2024 and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in 2025. “We feel so fortunate that such esteemed dance companies bring their shows to George Mason,” she told us. “It is so inspiring for our students to see professional dancers and productions. They always leave invigorated and excited to get back to their training.”
Hayfield Secondary School’s Kerri Shelfo, who also brought groups during the 2025–26 season, agrees: “As a high school orchestra director I believe it is vitally important that young musicians get to experience live music, especially virtuosi of their instruments. When I saw the Center for the Arts calendar included both Yo-Yo Ma and Ray Chen, I knew I had to offer the opportunity for my students to hear and see these legends in person. The students were enthralled with the performances and inspired in their own music-making.”
