Save the date for George Mason University's AI Day on Wednesday, April 29, at 9 a.m. in Fuse at Mason Square. This all-day event will bring together researchers pursuing foundational questions in AI, faculty integrating these tools into teaching and scholarship, policymakers wrestling with governance, students navigating a shifting landscape, and practitioners deploying systems in the field. The program will include speakers, research showcases, panel discussions, and workshops. Gather with others who are asking hard questions about where this technology leads. Registration for George Mason students and employees is free. 

Mason AI Expo: The Commonwealth Edition will showcase all the wonderful things happening at George Mason around AI and AI enablement across units and our community members. Don’t miss this opportunity to align with our partners on how AI is reshaping public services, education, workforce development, and the Commonwealth’s innovation economy. The program will highlight high-impact George Mason research and student talent, practical AI literacy initiatives and credentials, and grounded discussions on governance, procurement, and outcomes, paired with real use-case demonstrations and an industry dialogue on AI infrastructure and data centers.

Student Poster Showcase

All undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at George Mason University are invited to participate in the AI Day Student Research Poster Contest! This event is an excellent opportunity to showcase your scholarly work and engage with a diverse audience of AI professionals and peers. Space is limited, and entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Attending the Showcase

Guests of AI Day are invited to attend the Student Poster Showcase, giving students the opportunity to present their AI research to attendees, faculty, and industry partners. Stop by throughout the day to explore the work being done across George Mason's colleges.

Winning posters will be announced at 5:30 p.m.
