As a peer mentor for Camp Costello, you will support incoming business students as they transition to college life. You will help lead group activities, discussions, and team-building exercises, fostering a positive, inclusive environment throughout the three-day orientation.
Your role will involve guiding students, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and included, and encouraging participation from all group members. You will collaborate with fellow mentors and Camp Costello staff to ensure the smooth running of the program. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and support to students navigating academic expectations and personal challenges, while fostering connections within the College of Business community.
The application will be open from 3/30-4/10. It is strongly recommended that you take your time to fully answer each question to the best of your ability. Once applications close interviews will be conducted from 4/13-4/23, decisions will be released on 4/24. There will be a spring training for those selected on either 5/2 or 5/6.
If you are selected we ask that you hold the dates of of 8/10-8/21 in August for training and Camp Costello.
