Spring 2026 Graduation Ceremonies

University Commencement
Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
EagleBank Arena

University Commencement is the official graduation ceremony including degree conferral by President Washington. 

• Grads should arrive one hour prior to the scheduled beginning of the ceremony. Grads will need to provide their Tassel Stage Pass for check in. Stage Passes are provided to each graduate through the Tassel ticketing portal.
• Tickets will be required for any guests of George Mason graduates to enter EagleBank Arena for Commencement. Doors will open one hour prior to the start of the ceremonies. It is advisable to arrive at that time. Your guest(s) need to have access to their tickets. Guests enter on the South, West or North Concourse level entrances.

• Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates will be individually recognized and photographed as they cross the stage.
• Grads should arrive one hour prior to the scheduled beginning of the ceremony. Grads will need to provide their Tassel Stage Pass for check in. Stage Passes are provided to each graduate through the Tassel ticketing portal.
