The George Mason University Chorale

Musical theater fans eagerly anticipate this annual favorite—the Chorale Broadway Showcase, presented by the George Mason University Chorale. In this year’s theme, Bright Lights, Big City: Broadway Beginnings & NYC Dreams (3/27 and 3/28), the Chorale delivers electrifying opening numbers, heartfelt tributes, and timeless favorites—all celebrating the vibrant spirit of the Big Apple. Audiences are in for an extra special treat when Prince William County Public School music students join the Chorale in a special featured performance collaboration.

University Chorale students shared what they are most looking forward to in this Showcase:

"It's so wonderful to be a part of a group that loves performing as much as I do. I had the opportunity to stage and choreograph a few of our numbers, which meant so much to me as both a dance minor and a lifelong dancer," said Taylor Sexton, George Mason Sophomore, Soprano/Student Choreographer.

"The showcase is the perfect mix of choir and musical theater and is a fantastic time. I love the solo and small group performances," Ethan Yearwood, George Mason Sophomore, Bass, Music Major shared.

"The best parts of my day are getting up and singing catchy songs with my peers; it feels like a second home," said Om Arya, George Mason Sophomore.

Whether your taste runs toward the classics like Oklahoma and The Music Man, or to modern favorites like Hamilton and Rent, this performance has something for everyone!
